Penguin Challenge- Makerspace
The penguin challenge was an activity where the students worked in groups to create a safe way for their penguin to avoid getting eaten for dinner! Each group received the same supplies and brainstormed ways to keep their penguin afloat in the artic waters (or a tub in Ms. Supers' Room). It is always so fun for me to watch this type of project unfold and see their minds working, trying different things and then watching that light come on when they figure something out.
